United Arab Emirates Residential Visa – Process

The United Arab Emirates is a very attractive country from several points of view and many foreign citizens come to work or open businesses here. Among the advantages, expats can benefit from a flexible taxation system, safe and sound surroundings and high living standards. To apply for the residency, one must have a sponsor who is locally established. Residency Visa in Dubai can be acquired :

1. By purchasing a property: Investing in Property of more than 1 million Dirhams will make you eligible to apply for a residence permit through Property visa.
2. By obtaining Employment with Dubai based company: Once you Secure a job in UAE, Your Employer will sponsor your residency visa.
3. By opening a company in Dubai Setting up a business in one of the UAE’s Free Zones or through Department of Economic Development (DED) License will allow you to apply for residency visa as an Investor. These visas required renewal after every two or three years.

Expats having Residency Visas can sponsor their spouse, kids (below 18 years for boys and girl till she is unmarried) and Parents provided the specified criteria and steps are followed. Visa holders must enter UAE once in 180 days to maintain its validity.
